Royal Mail | Robin Hood
Last year I was commissioned by the Royal Mail to illustrate one of the most beloved English folklore tales;
The Legend of Robin Hood.
The brief was to illustrate 10 of the key, notable moments from the story in stamp format. I really wanted to capture the light hearted and jovial nature of the tale, and evoke a traditional picture book sentiment with the pieces. My goal was to emphasise strong local colours, as well as more graphic patterns of colours and tones.
